"The Place Between Nowhere" Character
Summaries, Book 1

Character summaries are meant to give my readers a glimpse into "The Place Between Nowhere" through the characters' role and perspectives. 

Unum, Latin for "one", was a name given to her from Martha, but that isn't the only name she goes by... Unum is eccentric, and loved by all students she leads through the Place Between Nowhere. Holding their hand as they travel through this unusual experience. Her job is simple, get students to their lessons on time, and enforce the PBN's rules. 

Angelos, Greek for "Angel", truly is the warmest character in the Place Between Nowhere. He hosts his lessons with passion and deeply cares for his students. 

Louis has always been a quiet and logical young man, keeping the peace between Martha and Neona since they were little. However, just when he was sure Mars had abandoned him and Neona, he comes to a startling realization about Mars.

E Pluribus, Latin for "Many" is the teacher of genetic cooperation, and takes the form of a tropical fish. He philosophizes over how living organisms and different ecosystems work together to build the continuum of life.  

Martha grew up in her semi-quiet neighborhood in Springfield, Oregon and was a highly imaginative child. Who loved nothing but to "dance away" in her fantasies. Until her eyes are opened to the chaos of reality which surrounded her. Since then, Mars has been seeking truth, a desire sure to consume her. On the brink of giving up, she is found by the Place Between Nowhere (PBN).    

Dina barely remembers the PBN and grew to hate the emptiness of her memory. A teasing feeling that she thought would drive her mad, until a glimmer of hope revealed herself to Dina and that hope was Martha. 

Alithia, "Truth" in Greek, is an all seeing entity of the truth which she was named after. She claims to be superior to other teachers of the PBN due to her endless intellect and knowledge. However, in the winding complex of the Place Between Nowhere, the truth is well hidden.

Greek for "together" this grumpy ancient lives in a wayward version of the savannah desert. An ironically lonely and isolated realm with no other creatures but a flock of immortal vultures to keep him company.      

She introduces herself as Unum's secretary and Martha's counselor; there only to help Mars and students like her navigate the PBN. However, her true intent is beyond what she's willing to show them.
